Last weekend Vermont Republicans and Democrats held their state conventions to choose delegates to the upcoming national conventions. Vermont Republicans are sending the youngest delegate in state history to a national convention. Seventeen-year-old Jace Laquerre is eligible under state law because he will turn 18 by election day. He hopes to bring the millennial’s perspective to the GOP.
Jace Laquerre has been assigned to the Credentials Committee of the Republican National Convention, which will be held July 18th to the 21st in Cleveland.
