Pignatelli Named House Chair Of Environmental Committee

Massachusetts State Representative Smitty Pignatelli has been named the House Chair of the Joint Committee on Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture – a role last held by the late Gailanne Cariddi. Cariddi died in June after battling cancer. WAMC’s Berkshire Bureau Chief JD Allen spoke with Pignatelli, a Democrat from the 4^th Berkshire District, about his new position.
