Investigators with New York's Department of Motor Vehicles arrested 758 people and seized more than 760 fake IDs in 2015 as part of an effort to crack down on underage drinking.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office released the numbers Friday in a report on the initiative, which saw DMV investigators and law enforcement check IDs at bars, concerts and other youth gatherings.

Investigators who raided one Albany bar in November found that 115 of the 125 patrons were underage.

In some cases, bartenders were arrested for illegally serving minors and in two instances, bars had their liquor licenses revoked.

The push also included outreach to bar owners, servers and security about ways to spot fake IDs.
