The Canadian Pacific Holiday train made its way thru eastern New York over the weekend providing entertainment and donations to food pantries along the route.
In what has become an annual tradition, the Canadian Pacific holiday train traveled through eastern New York this weekend. This year $4,500 was raised to help local food pantries in Clinton County according to Joint Council on Economic Opportunity CEO Bruce Garcia. “The need is significant. Over the course of the last few years we’ve seen about a 30 percent increase in the utilization of our food pantries.”
This is the 17th year the holiday train has stopped in Plattsburgh and Clinton County.
