As businesses in New York begin to reopen, an organization in the Adirondacks has launched a campaign to promote the region and pandemic safety.
The Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism has created a series of free posters dubbed “Politely Adirondack” for businesses to post as they reopen. CEO Jim McKenna says it’s a fun way to encourage CDC recommendations like mask wearing and social distancing. “We’ve all seen all the standard signs and we thought let’s have a little fun with this.”
The posters depict a moose, raccoon and birds following CDC pandemic guidelines.
