Michael Roth is President of Wesleyan University his new book is “The Student: A Short History,” it is an illuminating look of the students spanning from antiquity to zoom. Roth narrates a vivid and dynamic history of students exploring some of the principal models for learning that have been developed in very different context from the sixth century to present day.
