  • Author Liz Moore transports readers into a thrilling drama, richly set against summertime in the Adirondacks with her latest "The God of the Woods." She will join Joe Donahue in conversation as part of the Saratoga Book Festival this Sunday, October 6, at Universal Preservation Hall at 1:30. She is the fiction headliner of the festival which runs October 4-7.
  • The Saratoga Book Festival is an annual community-wide celebration of books in downtown Saratoga Springs, New York. SBF brings writers, book lovers, and even reluctant readers together for thoughtful conversations, fascinating interviews, book talks, readings, workshops, youth program, and more. The festival runs this coming weekend across various venues in downtown from October 4-7, with 33 Sessions & Special Events, 50 Authors & Presenters and a literary Marketplace with over 90 Local Authors.

In "The Year of the Puppy," Horowitz charts Quid’s growth from wee grub to boisterous sprite, from her birth to her first birthday.
