Sister Betsy Van Deusen

Responding to increasing requests for emergency assistance during the winter cold, the National Grid Foundation has awarded Catholic Charities two grants to help those in need.

Sister Betsy Van Deusen is Catholic Charities Chief Executive Officer. Catholic Charities is one of the region's largest human service organizations covering the Albany dioceses 14 counties and 10, 000 square miles. Across that area they serve some 100,000 people every year.
