Massachusetts U.S. Senator Ed Markey and Congressman Joe Kennedy will debate Monday night in Springfield.
Senator Ed Markey, who has been in Congress for more than four decades, is facing a September 1st Democratic primary challenge from Rep. Joe Kennedy, who has represented the Fourth District since 2013.
Polls have shown a close race so far, and both candidates have already spent millions in campaign funds.
Markey and Kennedy, who agree on most policy points, each spoke on WAMC’s Congressional Corner this spring.
The debate will be heard live on WAMC at 7 p.m.
