Pittsfield Police are no longer looking for a second suspect roughly 24 hours after a shooting Monday that sent a teenager to the hospital.
Police continue to seek information from people who saw what happened at the intersection of First and Tyler St. just before 9 a.m. Monday. After arresting a teenage male and charging him with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, police were looking for a second suspect, but are no longer doing so.
The 17-year-old male that was shot remains at Berkshire Medical Center after undergoing surgery.
No names have been released.
