The 121st Boston Marathon will be run on April 17th. It’s considered one of the top international running events. In 2013 the world’s attention turned to the race as two bombs near the finish line killed three people and injured more than 260 others. A new documentary recounts the history of the Boston Marathon and the return of racers and spectators after the 2013 tragedy.
WAMC News spoke with Jon Dunham, the director of BOSTON.
The documentary will be shown at theaters nationwide on April 19.
